Your safety is our top priority
All Abernethy instructors are experienced and qualified in the activities that they lead. Our specialist outdoor equipment is subject to rigorous safety checks, and we are inspected and licenced by the Adventure Activities Licencing Service (AALS).
All of our activities are risk assessed, and instructors adhere to strict guidelines and standard operating procedures when running an activity session. A downloadable copy of our Safety Standards for Outdoor Activities document is available at the bottom of the page.
Stringent health & safety guidelines are also adhered to in all of our Centres and departments - fire safety, food hygiene, safe working practices etc.
