Quality time…
With acres of stunning Scottish countryside to be enjoyed and explored, who could resist the opportunity to come to Abernethy on one of our All Age Family Weeks? It is an ideal opportunity for children and parents to enjoy quality time together in a challenging and healthy environment. There is a wide range of activities to choose from, all of which are geared to suit the abilities of those participating. Parents are encouraged to join in and participate in the activities, but can choose to spend the day back at the Centre, safe in the knowledge that the children are being well looked after by our Team of caring, qualified instructors. For many guests, the highlight of their stay at Abernethy is that special blend of fellowship and Christian experience found amongst the Abernethy Team, and readily shared with our guests. Each evening, there is an optional Time Out, a multimedia mix of music, drama, games, interviews and a guest speaker – all eagerly awaited by our guests.

Snowsports
Our Centre at Nethybridge is ideally located to offer you the very best of Scottish skiing and snowboarding. Both Cairngorm Mountain and the Lecht Ski Centre are within a half hour drive from Nethybridge, and offer a rich variety of snowsports terrain for all abilities. Our excellent instructors will provide you with equipment and expert tuition whatever your level, whether you are a complete novice or an experienced intermediate looking for some tips. Our ski packages include full board accommodation at the centre, use of our sports and leisure facilities, transport to the slopes, equipment hire, lift passes and instruction. The Abernethy Trust School of Adventure Leadership also runs EUROPEAN SKI TRAINING COURSES in St Luc, Switzerland.
Specialist Courses
Abernethy Ardgour, home to the Abernethy School of Adventure Leadership, specialises in providing a variety of training courses, including a one year fully residential Instructor Training Course which gives the opportunity of gaining 10 National Governing Body Awards. We also operate a 6 week ski instructor training course in St Luc, Switzerland.
